About Focus
Focus is your Unified Partner in healthcare technology. We bring IT, security, and data under one roof: one team, one point of accountability, one phone number. No more coordinating between vendors. Just technology that supports your practice and people who show up when something goes wrong.
Our Story
Focus was started with a straightforward premise: healthcare practices deserved a technology partner who understood their environment. Not a generic IT company that treated healthcare as just another vertical, but a team that had done the work (in the workflows, in the EHR systems, in the compliance requirements) and could own the outcome.
We decided there had to be a better way. Healthcare practices were juggling multiple vendors, nobody owned the full picture, and when something broke, everyone pointed at everyone else. We built Focus around the opposite idea: one team, one point of accountability, one call when something goes wrong.
Today, Focus serves medical and dental practices across the country with 100+ technical staff who work exclusively in healthcare. We have completed 2,000+ data conversions across 100+ EHR and PM systems. Our clients stay with us year after year because the work holds up, and the people behind it do too.
Focus founded to replace the multi-vendor model with one accountable healthcare IT partner.
Focus acquires Progressive Solutions, a 25-year dental IT firm founded by Cory Anderson, expanding the Unified Partner model into the dental market.
Focus Solutions officially rebrands as Focus, marking the company’s evolution from EHR implementation and consulting into a fully integrated Unified Partner for Managed IT, Managed Security, and Managed Data.
Why We Exist
Every system we build, every ticket we close, and every call we pick up is measured against one question: did this make care easier, or did it get in the way?
IT, security, and data under one roof. When something breaks at 7 a.m., there is one call to make. One team owns the problem through resolution.
We catch problems before they become tickets. Our clients spend less time on IT because we spend more time on it.
HIPAA, data conversions, clinical workflows: we speak the language because this is the only industry we serve. We never have to get up to speed on your environment. We already know it.
We tell you what we are doing and why in plain English. You should not need a translator to understand your own systems. We give you visibility, not excuses.
The average Focus client has been with us for years. We build relationships, not retainers. You get the same team, the same contacts, and people who actually know your practice.
A ticket is not done until your practice is running. We do not route problems to someone else. We see it through.
Impact by the numbers
We measure ourselves on the things that matter to the practices we serve. Here is what fifteen-plus years of focused work in healthcare IT looks like.

Leadership
A leadership team built inside healthcare IT, not imported from outside it.

Bruce founded Focus on the conviction that healthcare practices deserved one accountable technology partner, not a stack of vendors with no one owning the outcome. He leads the company's strategy and growth, and is the voice behind Focus's Unified Partner model.

Tim guides Focus's strategic direction and service model evolution. He brings a healthcare operator's perspective to the company's positioning — and writes and speaks regularly on the business of healthcare technology and practice management.

Mike owns service delivery, operations, and the standards that keep commitments honest. He ensures that what gets sold gets delivered — and that the systems supporting every client account are running the way they should.

Mark leads Focus's technical infrastructure, EHR partnerships, and engineering standards. He owns the platform that powers every service line and ensures Focus's technical capabilities stay ahead of the healthcare IT landscape.

Chuck leads Focus's sales and marketing organization and owns client relationships from the first conversation through long-term growth. He brings a practice-level understanding to every prospect engagement, and knows what it looks like when a technology partnership works.

Natalie leads client success and the long-term relationships that define Focus's retention. She owns the team responsible for making sure every account gets what was promised and that clients are heard when things need to change.

Will leads Focus's Managed Data analytics practice, turning clinical and operational data into dashboards and decisions that help practices run better. He built Focus's data infrastructure from the ground up and brings a health system data architect's perspective to every engagement.

Cory founded Progressive Solutions and brings deep expertise in dental practice IT to the Focus platform. He leads Focus's dental vertical and the ongoing integration that gives dental organizations access to the same Unified Partner model that medical practices have relied on for years.

Team & Culture
The Focus team spans engineers, security analysts, data specialists, and client success managers working across the country. What holds it together is not an org chart. It is a shared standard for how the work gets done and how clients get treated.
We hire for accountability and trust people to run their part of the business. Direct feedback is normal here. Nobody waits to be told what to do, and nobody routes a problem sideways because it is technically outside their lane. When something needs to be fixed, it gets fixed.
Every person on the Focus team works exclusively in healthcare. When your account comes up, the people handling it know your environment. There is no ramp-up time and no learning curve on your dime.
Round-the-clock support for all your technology. From help desk to infrastructure, we handle it so you don't have to.
The same engineer who onboarded your practice is likely still your point of contact a year later. We keep the people we build, and clients notice.
Certifications, conferences, and continuing education are part of the job here. In healthcare IT, staying current is not optional, and we pay for the things that keep the team sharp.
We are looking for professionals who want to work exclusively in healthcare. If you are tired of supporting every vertical and want to go deep in one, talk to us.
What Makes Focus Different
The difference shows up the first time something breaks, and every quarter after that.
Typical Generalist MSP
Separate vendors for IT, security, and data. Coordination falls on your team.
Tickets routed through a generic Tier 1 queue with repeated handoffs before resolution.
HIPAA treated as a compliance checkbox, not a built-in operating standard.
EHR support handled by generalists with variable accountability and experience.
Annual business reviews that are sales meetings with a different slide deck.
Billing surprises when scope gets fuzzy and nobody owns the gray area.
Focus
One team, one phone number. IT, security, and data under one roof.
Tickets go directly to the engineer who knows your environment.
HIPAA and HITECH are built into every deployment from day one, not added on top afterward.
Direct partnerships with ModMed, athenahealth, and Veradigm, plus depth across 100+ additional systems.
Quarterly reviews focused on your roadmap, your outcomes, and what comes next for your practice.
Flat-rate billing. Scope changes are documented and agreed before work starts, not after.
Certifications, Compliance & Partners
We hold, and actively maintain, the credentials healthcare organizations are required to vet. And we partner directly with the platforms your practice already runs on.
Every deployment uses controls mapped to the HHS Security Rule. We operate as a Business Associate for every client we manage, and BAAs are executed and maintained on file.
Focus maintains HITRUST CSF Certification, validating our security program against a comprehensive healthcare security framework.
Focus carries cyber liability coverage. Documentation is available to clients and prospects during the procurement process.
Whether you’re evaluating partners for the first time or replacing one that isn’t working, we’d like to learn about your practice. No pressure, no pitch. Just a conversation about what’s possible.
